Im 16 wks and 2 days prego and befor i got pregnant I was 101 lbs. I started drinking these shakes called ensure and from week 9 to now i have gained nearly 15 lbs. thats good for me because the baby is still growing thus so will I…lol so dont worry about your weight you look great and the less weight u gain the less you have to lose when the baby is here!

it’s so hard for guys to understand .. the best thing Micah did for me was read along with me in what to expect when you’re expecting. He is much more understanding knowing that sometimes I’m going to be crying sometimes I’m going to be angry but it’s difficult to control your hormones from developing these reactions. They’ll never know exactly what we go through though.

yeah i too had a loooong wait before my 20 wk and EVERY day i somewhat complained to Micah that I wish I could just get it done already so I know everything’s okay but instead of looking at it as something I couldn’t stand waiting for I just tried to be patient and look forward to seeing the baby at 20 weeks. It’s the best I could do, haha and it seemed to come quickly after I changed my mindset.

thanks for the advice. my hubby loves the naked juice brand so i will try it… i know im probably okay but my hormones and stress just get to me. plus no ultrasound or doctor appt until 20 weeks so i have no clue whats goin on! i asked levi to get a 2D at one of those private ultrasound places and he was like well u have one in four weeks which is soon enough, and he doesnt understand why im all upset…

i didn’t have enough room to finish what i was saying about those drinks (odwalla and naked brands) they are loaded with nutrients and even though you SHOULD try to snack 6 times a day at least .. the times you’re not feeling anything just try to chug one of these so you and you’re baby are running on something! I think your bump looks fine since you were already in good shape prepregnancy, I’m sure by 25 weeks you’ll be popping out

i’m sure you’re fine with the weight gain but i’d try snacking a lil throughout the day more, those lil snacks will help add up lbs at the end of the week. I don’t know the exact number but at certain weeks you’re suppose to be gaining a certain amount of weight so like you said just check in with the doc as it’s different for everyone!! The Naked Juice brand and Odwalla have a protein shake, but if you don’t like the taste I’d just try to drink their other flavors! They’re nutritious!

yeah i totally broke down earlier crying to my husband because im scared somethins wrong. i just had my doc appt a week ago and everything was fine, but im scared cuz i havent gained weight and what not. im super picky about what i eat so i think thats why im still not gaining. if im hungry but nothing sounds good then i dont eat. my hubby wants me to start drinking protien shakes
